​​- Moisturize the area daily with a non scented lotion.
- Keep the area out of the sun. Avoid sun burn and skin discoloration due to sun exposure.

- Drink plenty of water in order to remain well hydrated. It not only helps with the tattoo application but will help you feel better during the session. 

-Eat breakfast which includes sugars and proteins to ensure you maintain your blood sugar throughout the day.

BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT:

WHAT TO BRING:

- Photo ID​​

- Snacks/food to keep your blood sugar maintained. The studio does not have a microwave or fridge, so bring a cooler if food needs to remain at a colder temperature. 

- Water or hydrating liquids.

- Comfortable clothes that ensure the area is accessible to tattoo. Avoid light colors if you are worried about ink permanently staining your clothes. 

- If your body temperature fluctuates easily, it is recommended to wear layers of clothes.

- If you run cold, bring a blanket.

- A hair tie if you have long hair and are getting tattooed around the head/neck/shoulder areas.

- A phone charger

- Any sensory items that will help you to feel physically and mentally comfortable.

 

**PLEASE NOTE**

Due to my severe auditory processing issues, I will be quiet while I tattoo. I am very sorry for this inconvenience, however I will try to talk as much as I can during breaks. Please feel free to bring headphones, phone charger, books, or things in general to keep you occupied. We also have tv on during our sessions, and I will make sure you are able to face it.
 

HOW TO ACCESS THE STUDIO:

- Use the entrance that faces the road.

- Buzz in with the A-2 button on the call box. You will only be able to enter the building once Sarah unlocks the entrance.

- Use the door on the right to enter.

- Black Dahlia is the second door on the left.
