- Moisturize the area daily with a non scented lotion.
- Keep the area out of the sun. Avoid sun burn and skin discoloration due to sun exposure.

-Eat breakfast which includes sugars and proteins to ensure you maintain your blood sugar throughout the day.

BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT:
WHAT TO BRING:
- Photo ID
- Snacks/food to keep your blood sugar maintained. The studio does not have a microwave or fridge, so bring a cooler if food needs to remain at a colder temperature.
- Water or hydrating liquids.
- Comfortable clothes that ensure the area is accessible to tattoo. Avoid light colors if you are worried about ink permanently staining your clothes.
- If your body temperature fluctuates easily, it is recommended to wear layers of clothes.
- If you run cold, bring a blanket.
- A hair tie if you have long hair and are getting tattooed around the head/neck/shoulder areas.
- A phone charger
- Any sensory items that will help you to feel physically and mentally comfortable.
**PLEASE NOTE**
Due to my severe auditory processing issues, I will be quiet while I tattoo. I am very sorry for this inconvenience, however I will try to talk as much as I can during breaks. Please feel free to bring headphones, phone charger, books, or things in general to keep you occupied. We also have tv on during our sessions, and I will make sure you are able to face it.
